Batcheller Monkhouse is a growing regional firm of Estate and Lettings Agents, rural Chartered Surveyors and Planning Consultants providing a diverse range of property related services throughout the South of England. We are focused on the bigger picture, and as a result we are a progressive and expansive business.

We are looking for a Lettings Assistant for our Pulborough office. The role will be extremely varied and will include all elements of the lettings process, from marketing a property ‘To Let’, taking enquiries and carrying out viewings, through to client communications / negotiations and arranging tenancies. The role will also encompass property management which will include carrying out routine property visits for our managed property portfolio and liaising with and instructing contractors in relation maintenance items.

The ideal candidate will be ARLA Qualified or working towards theses qualifications, and must hold a full UK driving licence.

 

Skills Required

Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills

Strong attention to detail

IT skills (Microsoft software and REAPIT)

Highly self-motivated with a clear sense of urgency

Excellent organisational skills

Use of initiative

Team player

 

Our offices are open 9.00am to 5.30pm Monday to Friday (the successful candidate may be asked to work occasional Saturdays, dependent upon business needs)
