The Batcheller Monkhouse offices are very much part of their community and we take pleasure in supporting a wide variety of events and organisations. Each office supports a cross section of local charity events and organisations, holding several small fundraisers throughout the year. In addition, we get involved with the schools in our area and actively attend the agricultural shows in Sussex and Surrey, including the Heathfield Show, the South of England Show and Cranleigh as well as a wide number of other sporting events, including golf charity days, international eventing and the local Point to Points.
We are glad to be involved in the locality and support a wide range of activities including: cricket and golf clubs; schools and colleges including Plumpton College; equestrian events; the Heathfield Show and South of England Show. In addition, we regularly take part in charitable events to raise funds for a number of organisations. Read our latest fund-raising success
Be Brave Don’t Shave was the challenge from the Beating Bowel Cancer charity
Batcheller Monkhouse, encouraged by a colleague in the throes of cancer treatment took up the Beating Bowel Cancer, 2017 Decembeard challenge.
Several members of staff entered the annual Beating Bowel Cancer Decembeard challenge and with the whole firm behind them, and the support of friends and family, raised an incredible £8,010 for this charity.
Simon Henkel, Partner at Haywards Heath said “despite protests from our nearest and dearest we all decided it was a small price to pay to raise money for this extremely worthwhile charity. As you will see from the Leaderboard, amazingly Batcheller Monkhouse has raised the most of any team from across the whole country. As a firm, each office regularly supports a wide cross section of charities, and we look forward to taking up new fund-raising challenges in 2018.”
