The Role: As part of the expansion of our team in Pulborough we are looking for a qualified surveyor to join us. You will be working directly with Russell Parkes, who has over 40 years’ experience in rural estate agency across the Southeast. Russell leads the estate agency side of the firm in Pulborough and specialises in the sale of farms, estates, equestrian properties and rural residential properties. In addition, he deals with sale of all types of land including strategic development land as well as farm and woodland. The geographical coverage is mainly West Sussex, Surrey and adjoining counties, and knowledge of these areas would be useful.
The role will cover all aspects of rural estate agency and will include providing valuation and general rural consultancy advice.
As well as working on existing instructions, you will have an opportunity to identify, secure and deliver new business opportunities and develop new work streams as part of a supportive team network. Training, mentoring and support in growing your skills and role will be readily provided.

Qualifications: MRICS FAAV.
Personal requirements: The successful candidate will be MRICS and CAAV qualified or near qualified and be able to provide recommendations to clients based on technical knowledge and experience. You will be a keen networker, confident, resourceful and capable of building and maintaining good relationships with colleagues and clients. An affinity with and knowledge of farming and the agricultural community is essential.
Other requirements: Must have the permanent right to work in the U.K., a clean driving licence and use of a car.
Location: Batcheller Monkhouse Pulborough Sales and Lettings office, Stratton House, 57 Lower Street, Pulborough, RH20 2AZ.
Full-time/Part time: 37.5 hours per week Monday to Friday (9.00am – 5.30pm); and Saturday mornings as part of a rota.
