Graduate Development Surveyor, Tunbridge Wells

We are looking for a graduate surveyor to join our Tunbridge Wells Professional team. You will work within our Development Department supporting a range of clients on a variety of work. The role will include the identification of strategic land, negotiation of Option and Promotion agreements and the sale of development land following the grant of planning. You will have the opportunity to value various properties including land and residential.

You will be a team player with initiative to help us further expand this successful office. We are committed to providing high quality workplace training to help you achieve your RICS qualification.

Salary and package

• Based in our Tunbridge Wells office (1 London Road, Tunbridge Wells, TN1 1DH).
• Permanent position.
• Monday-Friday 9am-5.30pm.
• 20 days holiday (increasing up to 25 days) plus bank holidays.
• £26,000 per annum depending on experience.

Qualifications and skills

• Batchelor’s or Master’s degree in a property related degree.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Highly motivated with an enthusiastic ‘can do’ attitude, and a good willingness to learn.
• Keen eye for detail.
• Able to work both as a team member and under their own initiative.

Responsibilities and duties

Working with a wide array of clients, work will include:

• valuation of residential dwellings, strategic land and agricultural land
• advising clients on development land
• general private client work

Other requirements

• Must have the permanent right to work in the U.K.
• Clean full driving license.
• Use of a car.
