Vacancy: Lettings Negotiator
Location: Pulborough office
Full-time, Permanent (9.00am – 5.30pm, Monday – Friday. Every third Saturday on a rota basis 9.00am – 1.00pm.)
Key tasks:
- Sourcing and qualifying applicants to arrange and attend viewings
- Preparing all paperwork for new and existing Tenants
- Dealing with deposit returns for the managed portfolio
- Uploading new properties on all relevant websites
- Liaising regularly between the Landlords and Tenants
- Generating Landlord leads
- Attending market appraisals and take on new properties
- Attending regular property visits
- General administrative duties
- Actioning maintenance requests from Tenants in managed properties following consultation with Landlords as necessary
- Ordering Window Cards / To Let Boards / Photographs, EPCs and Floorplans where necessary
- Handling calls/emails from and to Tenants, Landlords and contractors in a timely fashion
- Arranging Check-ins and Check-outs
- Arranging Gas and Electrical Safety Checks as required
- Carrying out Market Appraisals
- Supporting the Lettings department and help out with other Letting’s duties as and when required
Essential requirements:
- Well-developed customer services, communication, writing and listening skills
- Able to professionally resolve conflict that may arise from time to time
- Excellent telephone manner
- Great interpersonal skills
- A working knowledge of the Microsoft Office packages
Non-essential requirements:
- ARLA technical qualification, or willing to work towards
- Able to operate Reapit system, or training given
- Good understanding of Lettings legislation
- Background in Customer Services
Other requirements: Must have the permanent right to work in the U.K. and a full clean driving licence.
Salary/Package:
- Holidays: 20 days plus bank holidays
- Salary: £20-22k plus commission per annum, depending upon experience
- Petrol Allowance
- Company Pension after qualifying period
