This fast-paced role involves planning, organising, and executing marketing campaigns and events to enhance brand visibility and drive business growth.

Batcheller Monkhouse is a leading firm of Estate and Letting Agents, Chartered Surveyors, and Town Planners, offering a wide range of property services across the South East. This ranges from estate agency and lettings, farm and estate management, planning and development, telecommunications and environmental consultancy. As a progressive independent business, we deliver bespoke, Partner-led services from our offices in Battle, Haywards Heath, Pulborough, and Tunbridge Wells.
Salary and Package
- Based in our Battle office (68 High Street, Battle, TN33 0AG).
- Permanent position.
- Full-time, Monday to Friday 9am-5.30pm.
- 20 days holiday (increasing up to 25 days) plus bank holidays.
- £25,000 – £28,000 depending on experience and qualifications.
- Life Insurance.
- Training is available to assist in developing your skills and advancing in your role as a marketing professional.
Qualifications & Skills
Essential
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Events Management, or a related field (or equivalent experience) or CIM qualification.
- Proven experience in marketing, events coordination, or a similar role.
- Experience in fast-paced environments, managing multiple projects and deadlines.
- A creative mindset with a passion for marketing, design, and content creation.
- Ability to multitask, work under pressure with tight deadlines, and use initiative.
- Ability to organise and prioritise your own workload.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Willing to travel to all 4 offices and event locations when necessary.
- Digitally confident.
- Eager to learn and adapt.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word).
- Highly organised with strong attention to detail.
- Self-motivated team player.
Desirable
- Ability to confidently use design packages, preferably Adobe InDesign, and potentially Photoshop and Illustrator. Training is available.
- Experience using Canva.
- Experience using WordPress or managing a website and SEO.
- Knowledge of Reapit.
- Experience using GA4 Analytics.
- Experience building and executing digital newsletters.
- Meta/Facebook Ads.
Responsibilities & Duties
- Events and Sponsorships Coordination: Plan, manage, and execute corporate and promotional events, including logistics, vendor coordination, and on-site management.
- Marketing Campaigns: Develop and implement marketing strategies across digital and traditional channels to promote events, products, and services. For example, social media, email marketing, and designing adverts and posters.
- Social Media and Email Marketing: Manage social media accounts by coordinating and creating daily posts, and analyse engagement. Create and manage email newsletters and campaigns to engage audiences and drive brand awareness.
- Content Creation: Assist in creating engaging content for social media, email marketing, and promotional materials including videos.
- Website: Assist in managing website content by updating imagery, creating new pages, writing blogs, and optimizing for SEO.
- Brand Management and Creativity: Ensure all marketing materials align with the company’s brand guidelines and messaging. Bring creative ideas to enhance the firm’s marketing efforts.
- Analytics: Track the success of marketing campaigns and events, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.
