We are looking for an experienced PA to join our Tunbridge Wells office. This role is as PA to the Chairman, who works across our four offices and divides his time between management of the firm and fee earning as an experienced Chartered Surveyor. We are looking for someone to help the Chairman fulfil his wide and varied role.

We have four strategically placed offices across Kent and Sussex including Battle, Haywards Heath, Pulborough and Tunbridge Wells.

Salary and package

  • Based in Tunbridge Wells office (1 London Road, Tunbridge Wells, Kent, TN1 1DH).
  • Permanent position.
  • Monday – Friday in the office.
  • Full-time or part-time (no less than 30 hours a week).
  • 20 days holiday (increasing up to 25 days) plus bank holidays.
  • £27,000 per annum.
  • Workplace pension.

Qualifications and skills

  • An outgoing, confident personality, unafraid to be proactive and show initiative.
  • Quick thinking.
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills.
  • A background in administrative roles, particularly one-to-one support of an executive.
  • Fast typing (min 60 wpm).
  • Strong IT skills (Microsoft Office; Acrobat DC).
  • A keen eye for detail.
  • A good telephone manner.

Responsibilities and duties

  • Diary management.
  • Audio typing of letters.
  • Liaising with clients and external service providers.
  • Liaising with key players within the firm.
  • Booking events and setting up meetings.
  • Setting up staff training courses.
  • Normal secretarial duties.
  • Proofreading, collation and distribution of reports.
  • Wider general assistance for the TW Professional team where needed, including answering telephone calls.
  • Providing occasional administrative assistance to the HR Manager.

  • Must have the permanent right to work in the U.K.
