What our students say

Kaddy Taylor
“Batcheller Monkhouse has played a key role in this course from the start, letting us apply the theory we learn to real client situations, reinforcing it in a way nothing else could. Being part of the very first cohort, it’s clear this is a practical, viable route into rural surveying.”

Thomas Playfoot
“Being part of the inaugural cohort has been fantastic to watch. The partnership with Batcheller Monkhouse has given me real experience in practice while away from Plumpton, which is vital for anyone undertaking a degree of this structure. I’d highly recommend it for a quicker, cheaper pathway to RICS Chartership.”

Georgia Hillyard
“After 20 years in commercial property, moving into rural land management is a big but exciting change. Wanting to keep working while building my academic knowledge made the opportunity with Batcheller Monkhouse especially valuable. Since joining in early 2026, I’ve already gained real rural sector insight ahead of starting the degree in September.”
