The Batcheller Monkhouse Planning Team secured consent for a 40 stall livery stables building in the South Down National Park. Extensive negotiation with the National Park Authority in relation to landscape and visual impact and general environmental protection was required to demonstrate the building was appropriately sited and would have limited impact in long and short range views and created no unacceptable environmental conditions. BM planning team were subsequently commissioned to discharge conditions which required many months of negotiation and extensive assessment of drainage requirements detailed design. All conditions have now been discharged and the building has been constructed and is in use.
