This development in the centre of Tunbridge Wells came forward in two phases. Firstly, planning consent was obtained for the conversion and extension of the existing care home and office unit into 19 x 1-3 bedroom apartments including 4 shared ownership units. The site was in a Conservation Area and therefore extensive negotiations were required relating to design and landscaping to ensure planning consent was granted.
The second stage comprised 4 mews houses in the grounds, which were allowed at planning appeal. The development is a short walk from the station and town centre and the first phase is now built out and sold.
