Art exhibition – Rosti Romanoff with his artwork

On 11 December 2019 the Batcheller Monkhouse, Battle office hosted a charity art exhibition of internationally renowned local artists and photographers to raise money for a local, Sussex charity. The exhibition was curated by Lucy Bell of Lucy Bell Galleries and artists who exhibited their work were Rosti Romanoff, Russell Dorey, Kirsten Reynolds, Bruce Rae and the late Michael Putland. Take a look at Lucy’s work here.

Overall the evening was a huge success and over £300 was raised for Friends of Sussex Hospices,  a local charity which raises funds to support the twelve hospice care providers that serve the adults and children of Sussex. You can read more about the fantastic work they do here.

“This was a fun and different way of celebrating our three years at 68 High Street, whilst at the same time raising funds and awareness of Friends of Sussex Hospices for all the wonderful work they do. We were delighted to welcome Rosti Romanoff and Russell Dorey to the party and guests enjoyed hearing about their various art works.”
