Batcheller Monkhouse were thrilled to be back at Farm Expo in Detling, Kent on Wednesday 1st March 2023.
Held at the Kent County Showground our Rural Professionals spent the day assisting landowners and farmers with any questions they had on the latest grants, new Biodiversity Net Gain legislation and rural opportunities. Despite the cold weather, it was a brilliant day with a large turnout and plenty of fresh hot coffee to keep us all warm.
Throughout the day the Kent County Agricultural Society hosted several interesting talks and seminars centred around a ‘Sustainable Future’. There were a variety of trade stands showcasing machinery, new technology, and professional rural advice.
Located in the Maidstone Exhibition Hall the Batcheller Monkhouse stand had a representative from each of the firms’ Professional teams including, Planning, Development, Telecoms, Estate Management and Agriculture. Our stand was well attended by farmers, growers and contractors from across the South East with many looking to find out more about the new Batcheller Monkhouse Environment Gateway, and updated information on the new and changing rural grants with the loss of BPS. It was a terrific opportunity for those working in agriculture to get together and network.
Thank you to The Mobile Coffee Bean for providing delicious fresh coffee throughout the day and to all who came and said hello to our experts. It was lovely to see so many familiar and new faces.
