Batcheller Monkhouse were delighted to be back at Farm Expo in Detling, Kent on Wednesday 6th March 2024.

Held at the Kent County Showground our Rural Professionals spent the day assisting farmers and landowners with any questions they had on the latest grants, Biodiversity Net Gain legislation, agricultural opportunities and rural property matters. Despite the recent large volume of rain, it was a lovely sunny day with a good turnout of visitors.
Throughout the day, the Kent County Agricultural Society hosted several interesting talks and seminars in the Astor Pavilion. These talks included topics such as Rural Crime and the Improving Productivity Grant. There were a variety of trade stands showcasing machinery, supplies, new technology and professional rural services.
Farm Expo 2024
Located in the Maidstone Exhibition Hall the Batcheller Monkhouse stand had a representative from each of the firms’ Professional teams. These included Agriculture, Estate Management, Planning, Development and Telecoms. Our stand was well attended by farmers, growers and contractors from across the South East. Many of whom were looking to find out more about the Batcheller Monkhouse Environment Gateway and updated information on the new and changing rural grants with the loss of BPS. It was a terrific opportunity for those working in agriculture to get together and network.
We were thrilled to once again use the services of The Mobile Coffee Bean at Farm Expo. They provided hundreds of cups of delicious, freshly brewed coffee to our staff, clients and members of the public. We would like to thank everyone who came and said hello to our Agency and Professional experts. It was great to see so many familiar and new faces.
