Batcheller Monkhouse at Friends of Sussex Hospices Christmas Gift Fair
The event was held at the East Sussex National Golf Resort on 13 November 2024. More than 450 Christmas shoppers enjoyed a fun few hours, browsing and stocking up on a wide variety of wonderful gifts from over 30 independent retailers. The atmosphere was festive and lively, with everyone having the chance to find something unique for their loved ones. On arrival, each person received one of our jute bags, which we hope encouraged them to purchase more than they could carry in just two hands while supporting a great cause.
FSH is a volunteer-run charity that raises funds to support the running costs of the 12 adult and children hospice care providers in Sussex. With no paid staff, all funds raised go directly to the hospices. This helps them provide the highest quality care and dignity when needed most. FSH also created the Sussex Hospice Trail, a 200-mile circular route connecting the 12 hospice care providers. It is a permanent legacy for walkers to enjoy the countryside and remember loved ones. The walk guides include text directions and a map, available for download on the All Trails website.
Members of staff from our Battle, Haywards Heath and Tunbridge Wells offices thoroughly enjoyed seeing so many new and familiar faces from the local community.
