Batcheller Monkhouse were delighted to once again sponsor the Friends of Sussex Hospices Christmas Gift Fair, held on Wednesday 19th November 2025 at the East Sussex National Hotel, Uckfield.
The annual fair is one of our favourite festive events, bringing together the local community to celebrate the incredible work of Friends of Sussex Hospices and to enjoy a day of Christmas shopping and goodwill.
A Festive Day Out
This year’s fair was a huge success, with hundreds of visitors browsing stalls filled with beautiful gifts, seasonal treats and unique finds from independent businesses. The atmosphere was warm and lively, with plenty of opportunities to discover the perfect present for friends and family while supporting a wonderful cause.
Our team enjoyed meeting so many of you throughout the day. We handed out complimentary Batcheller Monkhouse hessian bags to help carry your shopping and hosted our popular ‘Guess How Many Baubles Are in the Jar’ competition, which brought plenty of festive fun. Congratulations to the lucky winner who took home a luxury hamper!
Thank You
We are proud to support such an important event and cause. A huge thank you to everyone who attended, to the organisers and to the businesses who made the day so special. Our staff from the Battle, Haywards Heath and Tunbridge Wells offices thoroughly enjoyed catching up with familiar faces and meeting new ones.
We look forward to continuing our support for Friends of Sussex Hospices and hope to see you again at next year’s fair.
