On Saturday 24 May 2025, the Batcheller Monkhouse team was delighted to return to the Heathfield Agricultural Show, an event that continues to bring together the very best of our local rural community. Despite the classic mix of sunshine and showers, the atmosphere throughout the day remained upbeat and full of energy.
A Morning of Insight and Networking
Our day began with the ever-popular Rural Business Breakfast, where we welcomed over 70 local farmers, landowners and rural professionals. Over a delicious, cooked breakfast provided by Precision Catering, guests had the opportunity to hear from two fantastic speakers — David Exwood, NFU Deputy President, and Nus Ghani MP. Both shared valuable insights into the future of British farming and highlighted the ongoing importance of supporting rural communities.
An Afternoon to Connect
Later in the day, we hosted an informal drinks and canapé gathering, offering a relaxed setting for guests to catch up, network, and reflect on the day’s discussions.

Batcheller Monkhouse was proud to once again sponsor the Sussex Cattle Class, as well as support the event through roadside signage.
Awarded First Prize
We are thrilled to announce that Batcheller Monkhouse was awarded First Prize for Best Non-Agricultural Trade Stand. This recognition is a wonderful reflection of the hard work, creativity and collaboration of our team.
