Charlotte Pearson Wood MRICS FAAV Partner Tunbridge Wells Professional
I grew up in the local village of Sandhurst, Kent as the daughter to a farming family and very much involved within our local rural community. Having finished school I studied Rural Land Management at the Royal Agricultural Collage, Cirencester before working for 3 years in Wiltshire where I gained my Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors Qualifications (MRICS) and accreditation to be a Fellow of the Central Association of Agricultural Valuers (FAAV).
I returned to Sussex in 2014 to work for Batcheller Monkhouse in our Tunbridge Wells Professional team and was made an Associate Partner in 2017. My role at Batcheller Monkhouse primarily revolves around estate management for a number of private clients. But I am lucky in that I am also involved in a diverse portfolio of other private client work including the Agricultural Mortgage Corporation (AMC), grant funding applications for farmers, tenancy negotiations and valuation. There really is no such thing as a dull day in the office.
I have lived and been bought up in this area my whole life and feel privileged to live in such an amazing place. If I’m not working I can be found riding my horses, going for big long exploratory walks around the High Weald or on the beach on a wet windy wild day.
