Gay Street Lane is a picturesque rural lane in the hamlet of North Heath set between Billingshurst and Pulborough. The area is ideal for those that enjoy walking and riding with many interlinking Footpaths and Bridleways within it. Pulborough to the south and Billingshurst to the north are both about 3 miles distant and offer a range of local shops, supermarkets and mainline railway stations to London (Victoria). First and secondary schooling can be found in Billingshurst, and there are a number of private schools in the area.

The town of Horsham can be found approximately 11 miles to the north which provides more extensive shopping and recreational activities, and fast dual carriageway access to Gatwick, the M23 and the national motorway network beyond.
