Outline Terms of Tenancy

An Assured Shorthold Tenancy (unfurnished) is proposed for an initial term of 12 months, the rent for which will be payable monthly in advance. A deposit of five week's rent will be held under a Deposit Scheme by the landlord’s agents, a deposit being payable prior to the signing of the agreement. A deposit will be held without the accumulation of interest. In addition, a holding deposit of 1 week's rent will be payable prior to the start of the tenancy. The tenant may not assign or underlet the property.

The landlord would prefer not to accommodate pets at the property. However they may consider a small pet depending on the type. Any consent for a pet is only given in writing, and is by way of licence revocable at will. No smoking will be permitted in the property.
