Consultant

I have over 40 years experience in rural estate agency across the South East. As Partner, I lead the estate agency side of the firm in Pulborough and specialise in the sale of farms, estates, equestrian properties and land. Part of a farming family, I grew up on our farm in West Sussex. This is a most beautiful part of the world in which to live and work and I am lucky to have retained my strong links with the countryside. When time away from work allows, I greatly enjoy outdoor pursuits particularly village cricket and travelling, especially to go skiing.

Applicant Manager

I joined the Batcheller Monkhouse Pulborough office in 2023, bringing a variety of professional experiences from previous roles in the property sector including sales and surveying. I am fortunate enough to have been raised in West Sussex where I’ve enjoyed living by the sea, and now the countryside, moving where the next renovation opportunity takes me. With an interest in local history and antiques, I can be found far too often at local auction houses. With two dogs to keep me active I enjoy spending time exploring off grid.

Negotiator

Having always lived in the local area, I have grown very fond of the rural setting that surrounds Pulborough. After graduating from Bath Spa University, I am keen to grow my career in property. I am excited to work at Batcheller Monkhouse as a Negotiator, learning and growing with the company. In my spare time I enjoy an early morning swim or walking through the local vineyards with my greyhounds.

I grew up as a farmer’s son in West Sussex where I now live with my family today. Training and qualifying with RICS and CAAV membership in 1999 I initially worked in East Anglia for a highly respected Agricultural Surveyor and Auctioneer. After a further four years working for a national property firm, mostly on a large family estate in the Midlands I returned to Sussex and joined Batcheller Monkhouse in 2004, where I specialise in Estate management, Valuations and Planning and Development. I lead the Pulborough Professional office and advise clients on a wide range of issues. With 3 young children, my home life is pretty hectic and together we all enjoy the countryside and when time allows I will be out shooting with my spaniel.

After 5 years I relocated back to Sussex and joined the Batcheller Monkhouse, Pulborough Planning team in 2016. I have over 20 years experience in all aspects of planning and EIA coordination and pride myself in providing honest advice and being a problem solver, which is a much needed skill in planning! I live in Sussex with my partner Andrew and dog Jeff. Weekends are spent running over the South Downs trying to wear out the dog (and me).

Planner

I joined Batcheller Monkhouse is 2016 shortly after moving to West Sussex from Surrey and worked within the Estate Management department as a Secretary. Prior to joining Batcheller Monkhouse I worked as an Executive Assistant at Centrica for almost a decade!  Since joining BM, I moved teams to work within the Planning department and this is where I discovered my love of Planning.  During this time I undertook an apprenticeship to become a Town Planner which I completed in the summer of 2021!  I live in Pulborough with my husband, daughter and two rather adventurous dogs. If I am not cooking I spend the rest of my time discovering new walks and gardening.

After graduating from the University of Gloucestershire, my hospitality career developed to include corporate event and wedding co-ordination.
