This week, Harriet Richardson, Associate Planner and Nick Webb, Planning Assistant, were involved in a Royal Town Planning Institute (RTPI) event on Microsoft Teams. Harriet is chair of the Kent Young Planners’ Network, and was part of the virtual event with the South East Young Planners’ chairs and RTPI President Sue Manns. During the event, there were discussions on the ‘Plan the World We Need’ campaign, updates on what the young planners are up to, and a game of ‘Come Dine with the President’ which involved each attendee presenting which 5 planners they would invite to dinner and why.
“It was a really successful event and it was brilliant for young planners to have the opportunity to chat to the RTPI President directly, asking questions but also having fun in the process.” Harriet Richardson, Associate Planner.
