Batcheller Monkhouse were thrilled to sponsor the South of England International Horse Trials, held on Saturday 27th and Sunday 28th September 2025 at the South of England Showground in Ardingly, West Sussex. This landmark event perfectly combines top-level equestrian competition with a celebration of countryside living, and we were proud to support it.
Top-Level Equestrian Competition
The South of England Horse Trials has been a key fixture on the British eventing calendar since 1976. The 2025 event featured a mix of British Eventing and FEI-affiliated competitions, including CCI-S***, CCI-S**, CCI2*, BE90, BE100, Novice, Novice Masters Series, and Intermediate classes. Competitors tackled thrilling dressage, show jumping, and cross-country phases, with over 500 riders participating and 18,500 spectators attending across the weekend.
We were especially proud to celebrate Heidi Coy (GBR), who delivered an outstanding performance in the Batcheller Monkhouse CCI2* class, achieving first place on Tisrara Timothy and second place on AKD Infinity. Watching riders and horses showcase such skill and partnership reminds us why sponsoring equestrian sport is so rewarding.
Fun for the Whole Family
The South of England Horse Trials is a true celebration of countryside life. Over the weekend, visitors of all ages were able to enjoy pony rides, falconry displays, farm animals, and a funfair, alongside a variety of artisan food and craft stalls. With so much to see and do, there was something for everyone, whether you were a dedicated horse enthusiast or simply looking to enjoy the charm and vibrancy of the Sussex countryside.
