ESSO Aviation Fuel Pipeline 2022
Next year should see the construction of Esso’s new 90km Southampton to Heathrow aviation fuel pipeline. This will be replacing the original one which was installed in the 1960s.
Batcheller Monkhouse have been busy helping a diverse range of clients along the route who are being impacted by this scheme.
Senior Surveyor, Harry Broadbent-Combe MRICS FAAV says: “Although much of the route of the new pipeline is similar to the original one, over 50 years has elapsed, so we’ve been working with our clients on negotiating option agreements, licences for survey access as well as reinstatement and compensation following boreholes and archaeology trenches.”
