Next year should see the construction of Esso’s new 90km Southampton to Heathrow aviation fuel pipeline. This will be replacing the original one which was installed in the 1960s.
Batcheller Monkhouse have been busy helping a diverse range of clients along the route who are being impacted by this scheme.
Senior Surveyor, Harry Broadbent-Combe MRICS FAAV says: “Although much of the route of the new pipeline is similar to the original one, over 50 years has elapsed, so we’ve been working with our clients on negotiating option agreements, licences for survey access as well as reinstatement and compensation following boreholes and archaeology trenches.”
With experts in utilities and compulsory purchase based in each of our offices, this is but one of the major infrastructure projects Batcheller Monkhouse are currently involved in as agents for landowners and occupiers. Other work we have been involved with includes gas, electricity and road schemes and numerous water pipeline projects.
