Batcheller Monkhouse were delighted to be back at The South of England Show on Friday 9th and Saturday 10th June 2023.
The annual agricultural event was held at the South of England Showground in Ardingly, West Sussex. The weather was superb, with bright sunshine and warm temperatures. Our Agency and Rural Professionals were there assisting farmers and landowners with any questions they had. These included updates on Biodiversity Net Gain, rural opportunities, rental legislation and the property market.
We were delighted to be sponsoring The CLA stand with Warners Solicitors. Some members of our staff attended the delicious breakfast, hosted by The CLA, on Friday morning which was fully booked and involved an interesting Q and A session.
Throughout the weekend there were many attractions for the public to enjoy such as agricultural displays, live entertainment, international showjumping, heavy horse displays and livestock competitions. There was a variety of trade stands showcasing machinery, new technology and professional rural advice.
Batcheller Monkhouse was thrilled to once again sponsor the Inter Hunt Relay. We hosted an Afternoon Tea on Saturday from 4pm for our guests to watch the exciting equestrian activities in the main ring from our garden. The event was well attended by a selection of our clients, including local farmers, property owners and house hunters. Chris Tipping, Partner, from our Haywards Heath Professional team presented our rosettes from Scrummies Rosettes to the riders.
Located next to the Ardingly Ring, the Batcheller Monkhouse stand had a representative from each of the firms’ Professional Departments. These include Planning Consultancy, Development Consultancy, Telecommunications, Estate Management and Agriculture. Our industry leading Sales and Lettings teams also enjoyed networking and meeting potential clients. Our stand was well attended by farmers, contractors, property hunters and landowners from across the South East. Many of whom were looking to find out more about the new Batcheller Monkhouse Environment Gateway and updates on the local property market. It was a terrific opportunity for everyone, whether working in agriculture or not, to get together and network.
